Charter schools in WA are - by law - public schools that are open to all students regardless of their income, background, zip code, or perceived ability.

Charter public schools in Washington are held to an incredibly high bar for compliance and academic excellence.  There are several entities in Washington that provide oversight and authorization for the state's public charter schools.
